Role:                   Application Support Analyst (Payments software)

Location:            Luton (with potential to become hybrid after probation period)

Salary:                 £30,000 – 35,000 + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits

 

Key Skills:           Application support experience OR Super User level knowledge of payments software, Great customer service, SLA’s  etc.

The Role: 

  • Provide excellent customer service and End User support to Users of various payments software applications, in a Service Level Agreement environment, (responding to and resolving User problems / issues).
  • Support a variety of user support queries across payments, BACS transfers, general ledger issues etc.
  • Investigate and resolve often complex customer issues that will require technical investigation.
  • Liaise with 3rd part suppliers of hardware and software to support reported faults where required.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience working with payment software either as a Super User OR in an Application Support role.
  • Payments software experience, (such as SAGE 200, BACS, ICON, Access, Civica Financials, Pay360 etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose User issues and either resolve directly or escalate accordingly.
  • Keen interest in IT / technology including Super-User level knowledge of any accounting / payments / Receipting software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • A basic understanding of SQL.
