Are you looking to start your career in business analysis and gain hands-on experience working in Agile delivery teams? We’re seeking a Junior Agile Business Analyst to join a dynamic, product-focused team and support the delivery of digital platforms and business solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of Agile who is keen to grow their skills in business analysis, Scrum support, and project delivery.

This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work 2 days a week onsite at my client’s office in Newport Pagnell.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the analysis and mapping of business processes and workflows.
  • Take part in workshops and meetings, capturing notes, actions, and follow-ups.
  • Help produce functional documentation and simple process diagrams.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing, including preparing test cases and recording results.
  • Support Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain Agile artefacts like team boards, sprint backlogs, and progress tracking.
  • Help the Product Owner with routine backlog administration tasks.

What we’re looking for:

  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Interest or some exposure to business analysis concepts and documentation.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using standard office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with process mapping or workflow documentation.
  • Exposure to software development or project delivery environments.
  • Foundation-level business analysis or Agile certifications.

Why this role is a great opportunity:

  • Gain practical experience in Agile delivery and business analysis.
  • Work with a supportive, collaborative team on exciting products and platforms.
  • Develop your career in a fast-growing and dynamic digital environment.
