Role:                   ICY Operations Analyst

Location:          Hybrid – Southampton and WFH (regular travel to Southampton office)

Salary:               £33,300 + on-call, (£38K including on-call allowance) + paid overtime often available and excellent Employer pension and a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits.

 

Key Skills:        Day shift pattern, (12 days in a 3-week period), monitoring IT systems for availability, MS server and desktop support skills, driving license essential for occasional IT kit delivery.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT systems support role, running checks on servers / (perhaps datacentres), both virtually and on-site.
  • Local to Southampton and able to work on-site as required, (as this may vary shift to shift)
  • MS technical awareness, 365, azure, servers, desktop etc.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience of systems availability monitoring and working with a monitoring tool would be ideal
  • Strong and confident problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
  • Full UK driving license
