We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Transformation Delivery to join a growing technology consultancy specialising in ERP implementation and business transformation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong ERP programme delivery experience with a genuine understanding of organisational change, stakeholder engagement and business transformation.

The business has an established track record of delivering complex ERP implementations and is now looking to strengthen its wider transformation capabilities, helping customers achieve meaningful business outcomes beyond the successful implementation of technology.

Reporting to the Head of Professional Services, you will lead the Project Management and PMO functions, develop delivery capabilities and ensure that business change, user adoption and benefits realisation are embedded throughout client programmes.

You'll also play an important commercial role, supporting customer relationships, identifying opportunities for additional transformation services and ensuring projects are delivered successfully and profitably.

This is a remote role with travel needed for customer & team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and PMO professionals.
  • Provide leadership and oversight across complex ERP implementation and business transformation programmes.
  • Embed business change, stakeholder engagement, user adoption and benefits realisation into project delivery methodologies.
  • Develop the capabilities of Project Managers, helping them adopt a broader transformation-led approach rather than focusing solely on technical delivery.
  • Establish and enhance PMO governance, programme assurance, reporting and delivery standards.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for customers, building relationships with executive stakeholders and programme sponsors.
  • Work closely with commercial and account management teams to identify opportunities for wider business transformation services.
  • Take ownership of project portfolio performance, including profitability, resource allocation, forecasting and delivery risks.
  • Support the development of new transformation service offerings, methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Provide senior leadership and assurance on complex programmes, including the recovery of projects experiencing delivery challenges.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience leading complex ERP implementations and business transformation programmes.
  • Strong background within a technology consultancy, systems integrator or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams of Project Managers, Programme Managers and PMO professionals.
  • Experience delivering Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP programmes, ideally involving Unit4, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrable understanding of organisational change management, including stakeholder engagement, business process improvement, user adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Experience developing or improving project delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and PMO processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including project profitability, resource planning, scope management and financial forecasting.
  • Experience engaging with senior customer stakeholders and influencing business transformation strategies.
  • Ability to identify wider transformation opportunities beyond the initial technology implementation.
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience delivering ERP implementations.
  • Formal change management qualifications such as Prosci, APMG Change Management or equivalent.
  • Project or programme management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, PMP or APM.
  • Experience delivering ERP and business transformation programmes within the public sector.
  • Experience developing transformation consulting services or supporting the commercial growth of professional services offerings.
  • Experience implementing benefits realisation frameworks and organisational change methodologies.
