Role: IT Security Manager (Governance and Compliance)
Location: Hybrid – (Bradford or Wakefield plus occasional WFH)
Salary: £67 – 72K + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits, (including excellent Pension and discount scheme)

The Role:
- Lead the Cyber Security Analyst Team in delivering audits and compliance procedures.
- Drive forward the design of Information Security policy and compliance
- Act as Lead Accreditor for all digital systems
- Management or risk and chance control
- Represent the organisation across regional and national networks
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Security with experience of leading a small team in compliance roles.
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written as well as the ability to present to large groups on Information Security policy and compliance
- Good IT awareness, understand broad IT infrastructure and technology and the role of Information Security in an IT / Digital setting.
- Experience of delivering in an Information Governance role within a highly regulated sector, (i.e.. Finance, Banking, NHS, Government etc.)
- Experience of driving policy and compliance, confidence to deliver a strong compliance message across all stakeholders.
- 5+ years UK residency, (with no extended periods outside of the UK), in order to meet the necessary level of security vetting required.
