Azure DevOps Engineer
6 Week Contract
Location: Fully Remote (UK Based)
Rate: £500 - £550 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Azure DevOps Engineer for a global IT Consultancy. This is an initial 6 week contract to support on some urgent project work. This is a home based role with no travel required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing my client’s DevOps processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Due to the nature of the work valid SC Clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure DevOps Pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Configure and manage Azure resources and services.
  • Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed in the DevOps processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CI/CD pipelines and Azure infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD processes, and build automation.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience of SonarQube
