SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant (Inside IR35)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant to join our team on a 6-month contract. You will be working on critical projects within the defence sector, contributing to the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures
- Conduct data quality assessments and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage data risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPA)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
- Provide guidance on data management best practices and methodologies
- Support data migration and integration activities
- Conduct data audits and reviews to assess compliance and effectiveness
Required Skills and Experience:
- Active SC clearance is essential
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
- Certification in Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar is highly desirable
- Proven experience in data quality management and improvement
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Contract Details:
- Inside IR35
- Daily rate: £500 - £550 per day
- Contract duration: 6 months
- Regular travel to a site in the Bristol area
