Bid Manager (Fully Remote, UK-Based)

The Role
As a Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth for a leading provider of software solutions in the higher education sector. You will identify and manage end-to-end bid processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop compelling bid responses that showcase our innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential bid opportunities (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs)
- Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from initial assessment to final submission
- Collaborate with technical and sales teams to develop persuasive bid responses
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of non-functional responses
- Analyze bid requirements to determine product/market fit and develop effective response strategies
- Maintain and update the company's knowledge base
- Act as the primary point of contact for bid-related inquiries and communications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Essential: Proven experience of working on bids in the higher education sector or from working in procurement at a higher education institution
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 1 Suite or Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for technology and education
