Finance Business Partner
Public Sector Organisation | Hybrid working
We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide high-quality financial insight, challenge and support across a public sector organisation.
This is a senior finance role for someone who can work closely with service leaders, translate financial information into clear insight and support informed decision-making in a complex public sector environment.

The opportunity
The organisation’s preference is to appoint on a permanent basis, but it will also consider:

An interim agency professional, or
-
An agency worker with a view to converting to permanent
Contract and working arrangements

Permanent salary: £55,609 – £59,027

Interim rate: up to £33 per hour, plus on-costs

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Working pattern: Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office
The role
As Finance Business Partner, you will:

Provide strategic and operational financial support to senior stakeholders

Act as a trusted advisor, offering constructive challenge and clear financial insight

Support budget setting, forecasting and financial planning activity

Contribute to strong financial governance, value for money and accountability

Help services understand financial risk, opportunity and performance
About you
You will bring:

Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role

Strong understanding of public sector finance
-
The ability to influence, challenge and support non-finance stakeholders
-
A pragmatic, collaborative approach aligned to public service values
