We’re looking to recruit an Analytics Engineer to join a global software company with a focus on operational excellence and data-driven decision making. This role sits within a collaborative cross-functional team of analysts and data scientists, where you'll take the lead on delivering robust data solutions and performance insights using advanced SQL and modern analytics tools.

While data visualisation is part of the role, the primary focus is on back-end SQL development, building scalable and maintainable queries, and developing automated data products to support business intelligence and reporting.

🔹 What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop performant SQL queries and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting
• Create automated and scalable data products to deliver consistent business insights
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Tableau or Power BI
• Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Product teams
• Support the improvement of data literacy and analytics capabilities across the organisation

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

• Advanced SQL skills, with a track record of writing efficient, complex queries
• Experience working with large datasets and building reusable data assets
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong communication skills – able to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience in commercial or operational analytics, ideally in a B2B or financial services environment
• Bonus: Python skills (e.g., for scripting, analysis, or automation)
