Contract Impact & Evaluation Consultant
6 Month Contract
Location: Hybrid (WFH with travel to Brighton as and when required)
Pay Rate: £600 - 700 per day (Inside IR35)
Skills: Experienced Impact & Evaluation specialist, Government OR highly regulated sector experience, experience of implementing evaluation frameworks, ‘Theory of Change’ specialist. Excellent stakeholder / communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop recommendations to stakeholders on implementing an approach / framework to organisational evaluation and impact measurement
- Build impact and evaluation frameworks that capture both quantitative and qualitative change.
- Champion a culture of evidence-based decision making by building evaluation capability and understanding, where there is currently no standardised approach.
- Lead and support existing evaluation projects, ensuring methodological rigour whilst adapting approaches based on emerging insights and needs.
- Lead on a comprehensive impact evaluation of regulatory transformation, developing robust measures to assess organisational change and evidence strategic value.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- 5+ years commercial experience in an evaluation techniques driven role, with specific experience of working at a consultative level
- Able to evidence designing and implement appropriate organisational evaluation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of ‘Theory of Change’, Qualitative and Quantitative data analysis, logic models and RCT’s)
- Evidence championing / being an advocate across an organisation around the importance of effective evaluation
- Innovative – able to evidence being innovative and agile in style to work at pace in an organisation going through organisational transformation
- Excellent communication skills, across a variety of stakeholders including senior leadership team.
