Data Project Manager / Product Owner - Contract Inside IR35

2/3 month contract with scope to extend
6 days per month onsite

Our Client is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join their team in Brighton on an inside IR35 contract. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and deliver complex technical projects within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing technical projects from inception to delivery
• Working closely with senior stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines
• Managing project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Overseeing project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Running project meetings, including daily stand-ups and weekly status updates
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Experience with DevOps tools and Jira

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes and data modeling. Proficiency in SQL is required in order to read/understand complex queries  
• Strong project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong technical understanding and ability to work with diverse technical teams
• Experience with DevOps tools and Jira
