Location: Hybrid, one day a week in the Birmingham office

Salary: £33,500 (dependent on your experience)

Job Purpose:

As a Data Analyst, your role goes beyond mere number-crunching; it involves shaping the data landscape to reveal insights that influence our understanding of consumer behaviour. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver data analyses that contribute to our business plan aspirations.
  • Determine the most suitable analytical approach for each project, showcasing your analytical skills.
  • Communicate findings through various mediums, including written reports, dynamic presentations, or visually compelling data visualizations.
  • Lead the effort to embed an evidence-led culture, inspiring and guiding internal stakeholders through the nuances of evidence assurance.
  • Navigate internal and external data sources with confidence, acting as a resource and offering advice to colleagues.
  • Share your data insights with diverse audiences, adapting your communication style to match the stakeholder landscape.

Essential:

  • Develop effective data analysis specifications.
  • Lead the design and analysis of intricate datasets, showcasing analytical skills.
  • Possess a solid understanding of statistical principles, gained through qualifications, degrees, or a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Work adeptly with large datasets, identifying trends, extracting critical factors, and translating them into a business context using various formats (reports, charts, infographics).
  • Command advanced skills in Power BI for compelling data visualizations and/or SPSS for statistical analyses.
  • Speak and write fluently in the language of data, effectively conveying complex analyses to diverse audiences.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, nurturing productive working relationships.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and a profound understanding of quality assurance procedures.
