UX Designer
6 Month Contract
Location: UK – Remote
Pay Rate: £450 - £500 per day (INSIDE IR35)

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer for a 6-month contract to support the delivery of high-quality digital products across a range of platforms.

This role requires a strong all-rounder — someone confident running stakeholder workshops, managing client relationships, and getting hands-on with design execution. You’ll be comfortable balancing discovery, prototyping, and delivery in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Delivery

• Design visually engaging, user-centred interfaces that balance usability, accessibility, and business objectives
• Translate complex requirements into intuitive, elegant digital experiences
• Deliver high-quality outputs across multiple platforms

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate discovery workshops with clients and internal stakeholders
• Gather, interpret, and challenge requirements to shape effective solutions
• Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers throughout the product lifecycle
• Contribute to a positive, feedback-driven and delivery-focused team culture

Prototyping & Validation

• Create high-fidelity prototypes to communicate ideas and validate solutions
• Run design reviews and iterate based on research, testing, and feedback

Design Systems & Standards

• Work within an established design system, ensuring consistency and scalability
• Contribute to evolving standards and best practices

Accessibility & Inclusion

• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (including WCAG)
• Advocate for inclusive and user-first design principles

Core Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in UX / Product / Service Design roles
• Strong track record delivering high-quality digital products across different sectors
• Experience running stakeholder workshops and working in client-facing environments
• Ability to translate strategic ideas into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
• Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
• Experience working with design systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Tools:
Figma, FigJam, and related design/prototyping tools
