SAP Business One Consultant

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (+ car allowance)

We are looking to recruit a SAP Business One Consultant for a leading SAP specialist IT Consultancy.

You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Business One solutions for a diverse client base. You will utilise your expertise to understand client needs, identify process improvements, and deliver customised solutions that align with their business objectives

This is a fully remote role that can be based anywhere in the UK with travel to customer sites for projects when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workshops to identify gaps between standard SAP Business One functionality and client requirements, providing expert guidance to optimise business processes.
• Prepare comprehensive Blueprint and Scope of Work documents along with accurate project estimates.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver implementation consultancy and support during installations, upgrades, and bespoke customisations of SAP Business One.
• Develop customised document layouts and reports using Crystal Reports.
• Perform data migration from legacy systems into SAP Business One.
• Create automated tasks using Business Process Automation (BPA).
• Customise solutions using the Boyum B1UP add-on.
• Conduct thorough configuration testing.
• Manage upgrades to SAP Business One and associated add-ons.
• Collaborate with the service delivery team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Requirements:

• SAP Business One Certification (essential).
• Expertise in SAP Business One HANA and MS SQL (essential).
• Proficiency in Crystal Reports and SQL queries (essential).
• Strong background in SAP solution design and implementation.
• Knowledge of BPA, Boyum B1UP, and advanced configuration (desirable).
• Familiarity with Produmex WMS (desirable).

Person Requirements: The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP Business One experience combined with a solid understanding of accounting and business management software. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as this role involves significant client interaction. You will:

• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be adept at understanding and interrogating business processes to identify gaps and risks.
• Possess strong analytical skills and industry knowledge.
• Be comfortable engaging with end users at all levels, from office staff to senior management.
• Exhibit a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Be capable of managing both full SAP Business One implementations and smaller, targeted projects.
