Finance Business Partner
Permanent
Location: UK – Remote
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (+ benefits)
We are working with a growing technology-led business to recruit a Finance Business Partner into its expanding FP&A team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within commercial finance, working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders to provide insight, analysis and challenge across the business.
You’ll partner with teams including Sales, Account Management and Professional Services, helping them understand financial performance and supporting better commercial decision-making.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting monthly management reporting, including variance analysis, KPI trends and performance commentary
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Producing revenue, cost and margin analysis
- Working closely with non-finance stakeholders to provide clear and actionable financial insight
- Supporting headcount planning, capacity modelling and cost analysis
- Providing analysis around pricing, discounts and commercial deals
- Reviewing customer and project profitability
- Supporting reporting around utilisation and project performance
- Analysing recurring revenue and subscription metrics including ARR, MRR, churn and retention
- Supporting improvements to financial reporting, forecasting and business processes
- Acting as a key link between commercial teams and Finance
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with experience in a commercial finance, FP&A or management accounting environment who enjoys working with data and partnering with the wider business.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills
- Good analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and explain financial performance
- Confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
- Good commercial awareness
- A proactive approach and willingness to develop
Experience within SaaS, technology, subscription-based or professional services businesses would be advantageous, particularly exposure to recurring revenue or services-based KPIs.
