Senior Business Analyst – UAT & Test Coordination (NPPV3 Cleared)
Location: UK Policing Environment (Hybrid)
Duration: 8 weeks (immediate start)
Day rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active NPPV3 clearance required – essential
We are supporting a UK policing organisation to secure an experienced Business Analyst for a short-term, delivery-critical assignment within a forensic programme.
This role will focus on establishing and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) for a case and quality management system, ensuring operational workflows are effectively validated.
Please note: Active NPPV3 clearance is mandatory. Candidates without current clearance will not be considered.
The role
You will take ownership of UAT planning and coordination across forensic functions, working closely with scientists and operational users who may have limited experience of structured testing.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly bring structure, translate workflows into test scenarios, and support users through the testing process.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and coordinate the UAT approach for a forensic case management system
- Translate operational workflows into clear, structured test scenarios and scripts
- Support non-technical users in understanding and executing testing
- Coordinate testing activity across teams, ensuring coverage and progress
- Track defects, issues, and outcomes, maintaining delivery momentum
- Act as the interface between operational users and technical delivery teams
Experience required
- Strong experience in UAT planning and coordination within live delivery environments
- Background as a Senior Business Analyst with hands-on involvement in testing
- Experience working within UK policing or closely aligned environments
- Familiarity with case management or CRM systems
- Ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders
Essential requirement
- Current and active NPPV3 clearance (non-negotiable)
