Junior Accounts Assistant (School/College Leaver Opportunity)
Location: Studley, Warwickshire
Hours: 4 days per week (Approx. 30–35 hours)
A full driving licence and access to a car is essential due to our rural location. Please do not apply unless you meet this requirement.

We’re looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our friendly finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience across both purchase ledger and sales ledger functions, with full support and training provided.
What you’ll be doing:
Purchase Ledger Support:

Helping to process purchase invoices

Matching invoices with purchase orders

Assisting with reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

Supporting payment runs

Updating supplier details in the finance system
Sales Ledger Support:

Assisting in raising and sending out sales invoices

Allocating payments from customers

Helping with credit control tasks

Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments
What we’re looking for:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good attention to detail and basic maths skills

Confident using computers (especially Microsoft Excel)

Clear communication skills – both written and spoken

A team player who can also work independently

A professional and reliable approach
No previous experience is required, but if you’ve studied business, maths or finance at school or college, that’s a bonus.
We may also support you to work towards an AAT qualification as you develop in the role.
Please note:
Due to the location of our office, having a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. There are limited public transport links, so this is non-negotiable.
