Automation Test Engineer

Location: London / Home (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + benefits

We’re recruiting an Automation Test Engineer for a leading software company that develops advanced solutions for trading and risk management across global financial and energy markets.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in central London.

The Role

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will:

• Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks
• Develop and execute automated tests using the Triangle Test Automation product
• Work closely with developers, product owners and stakeholders within scrum teams
• Support API and integration testing across distributed systems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality improvement
• Help shape best practice in automation strategy and tooling

You’ll be working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where quality and reliability are critical.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience designing automation for complex, business-critical platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with SpecFlow (Reqnroll)
• API testing expertise
• Solid SQL skills
• Experience using GIT and Azure Pipelines
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Desirable:

• Experience within Energy Trading or Capital Markets environments
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
