Junior Accounts Assistant (School/College Leaver Opportunity)
Location: Studley, Warwickshire
Hours: 4 days per week (Approx. 30–35 hours)

A full driving licence and access to a car is essential due to our rural location. Please do not apply unless you meet this requirement.

We’re looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our friendly finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience across both purchase ledger and sales ledger functions, with full support and training provided.

What you’ll be doing:

Purchase Ledger Support:

• Helping to process purchase invoices

• Matching invoices with purchase orders

• Assisting with reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

• Supporting payment runs

• Updating supplier details in the finance system

Sales Ledger Support:

• Assisting in raising and sending out sales invoices

• Allocating payments from customers

• Helping with credit control tasks

• Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments

What we’re looking for:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good attention to detail and basic maths skills

• Confident using computers (especially Microsoft Excel)

• Clear communication skills – both written and spoken

• A team player who can also work independently

• A professional and reliable approach

No previous experience is required, but if you’ve studied business, maths or finance at school or college, that’s a bonus.
We may also support you to work towards an AAT qualification as you develop in the role.

Please note:
Due to the location of our office, having a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. There are limited public transport links, so this is non-negotiable.
