Are you a seasoned Project Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a forward-thinking ecommerce organisation, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join their Business Change department. This role offers a competitive salary of £55-60k and a hybrid working model, allowing you to balance office and remote work effectively.
Position Purpose:
The Project Manager will lead the delivery of various project types, initially focusing on digital transformation projects. You will work with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and collaborate with in-house and third-party software development teams.
Principal Accountabilities:
● Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
● Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, and manage resources
● Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives
● Work with Delivery Managers to ensure efficient and productive scrum team delivery
● Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
● Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
● Prepare and present progress reports, project briefs, and status updates to stakeholders
● Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
● Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed
● Conduct post-project evaluations and create recommendations for future projects
● Support the implementation of best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes
Core Competencies and Experience:
● Project management certifications ideally waterfall and agile
● 5+ years of project management experience including digital transformation projects, ideally in e-commerce industry
● Proven experience in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams
● Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
● Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, Trello)
● Experience of working with third-party suppliers and in-house software development teams
